The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling the names of opened files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into opening a file with an overly long (about 134 bytes) filename. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.5f and has also been reported in version 1.6b. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Don't disassemble files with overly long, specially crafted filenames.
