The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the communication handling and can be exploited to crash a vulnerable service by sending a specially crafted packet to port 61427/tcp. The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.0. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: The vulnerability will reportedly be fixed in the upcoming 3.1 version.
