The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the "passwd_mysql" and "passwd_pgsql" modules "auth()" functions, which may be exploited to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the proxy server. The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.5.23. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: The vulnerability has been fixed in the CVS repository.
