Gentoo has issued updates for binutils and elfutils. These fix a

GNU Binutils users:
Update "sys-devel/binutils" to 2.14.90.0.8-r3, 2.15.90.0.1.1-r5,
2.15.90.0.3-r5, 2.15.91.0.2-r2, 2.15.92.0.2-r10, 2.16-r1 or later.

elfutils users:
Update to "dev-libs/elfutils-0.108" or later.
