DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat has issued an update for kdbg. This fixes an old
vulnerability, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local
users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to the application not checking the
permissions of the .kdbgrc file. This can be exploited to inject
arbitrary commands if a debugged program is located in a
world-writable directory.

SOLUTION:
Updated packages are available from Red Hat Network.
