DESCRIPTION:
Avaya has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in sharutils included in
various products, which potentially can be exploited by malicious,
local users to conduct certain actions on a vulnerable system with
escalated privileges.

Some other potential security issues have also been reported.

SOLUTION:
The vendor recommends users not to execute sharutil commands (e.g.
"shar" and "unshar").

An update is reportedly considered for a future release.
