DESCRIPTION:
Stefan Esser has reported a vulnerability in Trac, which can be
exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information and
potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the
"id" parameter when processing an attachment upload and download
request.  This can be exploited to retrieve any files accessible by
the web server, or to upload files to writable directories by
supplying arbitrary paths to the parameter.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions 0.8.3 and prior.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.8.4 or later.
