DESCRIPTION:
Hat-Squad has reported a vulnerability in NetBackup, which
potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference error
in the NDMP mover agent and can be exploited to crash the agent via a
specially crafted NDMP CONFIG message with an out-of-range timestamp
value in the header.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 5.1. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter traffic to the vulnerable service.
