Secunia hat zwei freie Stellen als Junior und Senior Spezialist in IT- Sicherheit: http://secunia.com/secunia_vacancies/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TITLE: FlexPHPNews Multiple Vulnerabilities SECUNIA ADVISORY ID: SA16300 VERIFY ADVISORY: http://secunia.com/advisories/16300/ CRITICAL: Moderately critical IMPACT: Security Bypass, Cross Site Scripting, Manipulation of data, Exposure of system information, DoS WHERE: >From remote SOFTWARE: FlexPHPNews 0.x http://secunia.com/product/4942/ DESCRIPTION: rgod has reported some vulnerabilities in FlexPHPNews, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service), or conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks. 1) Certain input is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Examples: http://[host]/index.php?front_indextitle=[code] http://[host]/index.php?front_searchsubmit=[code] http://[host]/index.php?front_latestnews=[code] http://[host]/news.php?newsid=[code] http://[host]/news.php?front_rating=[code] http://[host]/news.php?salt=[code] http://[host]/news.php?front_letmerateit=[code] http://[host]/news.php?front_ratebest=[code] http://[host]/news.php?front_ratesubmit=[code] http://[host]/news.php?front_searchsubmit=[code] http://[host]/search.php?front_searchresult=[code] http://[host]/search.php?front_searchsubmit=[code] http://[host]/catalog.php?front_searchsubmit=[code] http://[host]/catalog.php?front_latestnews=[code] http://[host]/catalog.php?catalogid=[code] 2) Input passed to the "prenumber" and "nextnumber" parameters in "news.php" is not properly verified before being used in a loop statement. This can be exploited to consume a large amount of CPU and memory resources on a vulnerable system. 3) Input passed to the username and password in the administration login is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. It is also possible to disclose the full path to "usercheck.php" by accessing it with invalid input. The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 0.0.4. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.
