DESCRIPTION:
Lostmon has discovered some vulnerabilities in Jax Newsletter, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks or disclose certain sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "language" parameter isn't properly sanitised
before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of a vulnerable site.

2) Accessing the "/logs/jnl_records" file directly discloses certain
sensitive information (e.g. email addresses of users, who have signed
in or out).

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.14 and have also
been reported in version 2.10. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Remove read permissions from "jnl_records".
