DESCRIPTION:
matrix_killer has discovered some vulnerabilities in ATutor, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed to the "course" parameter in login.php and the "words"
parameter in search.php isn't properly sanitised before being
returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of a
vulnerable site.

Examples:
http://[host]/ATutor/login.php?course=[code]
http://[host]/ATutor/search.php?words=[code]

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.5.1. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

The vulnerabilities will reportedly be fixed in the next release.
