DESCRIPTION:
l0om has reported a vulnerability in Cosmoshop, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and
disclose sensitive information.

Input passed in the administration login isn't properly sanitised
before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

This can further be exploited to access the administration section
and disclose arbitrary files via the "file" parameter passed to
bestmail_edit.cgi.

It has also been reported that passwords are stored in clear text
inside the database.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 8.10.78. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Restrict access to the administration login.
