DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in rdiff-backup, which can be
exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in restricting directory
access using the "-restrict", "--restrict-read-only", and
"--restrict-update-only" options. This can be exploited to obtain
directory listings of files outside the allowed path or to write
files outside the path.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0.0. Prior versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.0.1.
