The vulnerability is caused due to an error in "Group.pm" where certain global variables are not properly cleared. This can be exploited to gain access to the "SITE_MGR" group. Successful exploitation allows the user to carry out certain administrative tasks (e.g. modify site content), but requires knowledge of various fields to alter and the group identification number of the "SITE_MGR" group. The vulnerability has been reported in version 6.4.4. Other versions may also be affected.
