DESCRIPTION:
Mazin Faour and Andy Davis have reported a vulnerability in Sygate
Protection Agent, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to
bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to a design error that can be
exploited by a non-privileged user to access the Management GUI
("smcgui.exe") and disable the Protection Agent. 

The vulnerability has been reported in Sygate Protection Agent 5.0
build 6144 in Sygate Enterprise Protection software suite. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict system access to only trusted users.
