The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling of the DHCP options field. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow which crashes the service and may allow arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.1 for Windows. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=132995 A fix is not currently available for the Linux version.
