The vulnerability is cause due to an error in the TOS (TippingPoint OS) when handling certain HTTP traffic. This can be exploited to cause the device to utilise a large amount of CPU resources. The vulnerability has been reported in versions 2.1.3.6323 and prior, and in version 2.2.0.6504. SOLUTION: The vulnerability has been fixed in TOS versions 2.1.4.6324 and 2.2.1.6506 available via the Threat Management Center.
