The problem is that SQL error messages are returned to the user. This can be exploited to disclose the configured table prefix via a specially crafted search request. Example: http://[victim]/search.php?s=de1aaf9b&action=do_search&keywords=a&srchtype=3 The weakness has been confirmed in version 1.0.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that SQL error messages are not returned to users.
