The vulnerability is caused due to the "count" parameter being incorrectly validated. This can be exploited to ping other hosts arbitrary amount of times by supplying a negative number for the "count" parameter. The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that the "count" parameter is properly validated.
