The vulnerability is caused due to the application running notepad.exe with SYSTEM privileges when the user clicks on the "Report" button after completing an update. This can be exploited to run cmd.exe with escalated privileges. The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 7.0 build 138. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to affected systems.
