DESCRIPTION:
Silitix has discovered a vulnerability and a weakness in Fabien
Gauharou Explorer XP, which can be exploited by malicious people to
disclose system information and conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

1) Input passed to the "chemin" parameter in "dir.php" isn't properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

2) Input passed to the "chemin" parameter in "dir.php" isn't properly
verified, before it is used to list files and directories. This can be
exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary directories via
directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability and the weakness have been confirmed in the latest
available version. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and
verified.
