DESCRIPTION:
Jericho has reported some vulnerabilities and a security issue in @1
Event Publisher, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct
script insertion attacks, and by malicious people to conduct script
insertion attacks and disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "Event", "Description", "Time", "Website", and
"Public Remarks" fields in eventpublisher_admin.htm and
eventpublisher_usersubmit.htm is not properly sanitised before being
used. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Access to eventpublisher.txt is not properly restricted. This can
be exploited to disclose private comments.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2003-12-18. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Restrict direct access to eventpublisher.txt.
