TITLE: Kamgaing Email System Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities SECUNIA ADVISORY ID: SA19755 VERIFY ADVISORY: http://secunia.com/advisories/19755/ CRITICAL: Less critical IMPACT: Cross Site Scripting WHERE: >From remote SOFTWARE: Kamgaing Email System http://secunia.com/product/9621/ DESCRIPTION: r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in Kamgaing Email System, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks. Input passed to the "id" and "ordner" parameters in main.php, the "draft" parameter in compose.php, the "ordner" parameter in webdisk.php, and to the "m" and "y" parameters in calendar.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browsers session in context of an affected site. Note that certain error messages disclose the full installation path. The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
