DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Storage Automated Diagnostic
Environment (StorADE), which can be exploited by malicious, local
users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to insecure default file and
directory permissions (world-writable) on components installed by the
optional SUNWstadm package.

The vulnerability has been reported version 2.4 for the SPARC
platform. Prior versions are reportedly not affected.
