The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of LIST commands. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by supplying an overly long second argument (about 350 bytes) to the command. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.01 released 2006-04-06. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.01 released 2006-07-18.
