This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to gain administrative privileges. NOTE: In version 1.08, successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in versions 1.07 and 1.08. Other versions may also be affected. 2) Input passed to the "redirect" parameter in misc.php is not properly verified before being used. This can be exploited to redirect users to an untrusted site after following a specially crafted link. The weakness has been confirmed in version 1.07. Prior versions may also be affected. 3) Input passed via the URL is not properly sanitised before being used in a dynamic variable evaluation in header.php. This can reportedly be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site or manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.07. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: 1) Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. 2+3) Update to version 1.08.
