DESCRIPTION:
Adam Baldwin has discovered a vulnerability in Simpliciti Locked
Browser, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass
certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of
JavaScript changing focus of the locked browser window. This can be
exploited to bring up the Windows Task Manager by e.g. first visiting
a web site, which calls the "window.blur()" JavaScript method and then
pressing CTRL-SHIFT-ESC.

Successful exploitation allows access to the desktop of the system,
but requires physical access to an affected system.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in the latest available trial
version. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not rely on the lockdown protection to protect against users
accessing the desktop.

The vulnerability will reportedly be fixed in an upcoming release
soon.
