If Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is enabled, the Linksys WRT54GXv2 also accepts UPnP requests sent to the WAN interface. This can e.g. be exploited to open arbitrary ports by sending an "AddPortMapping" command to the device. The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.00.05. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Reportedly, this is fixed in firmware versions 2.00.08 and above.
