This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session when malicious data is viewed. 2) An error exists within the handling of alternative data streams. When running on a NTFS file system, this can be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files in the web root by appending "::$DATA" to the request. This allows to gain knowledge of user and administrator login credentials, cryptographic keys and certificates, private messages, logfiles, and other sensitive information. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 4.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Greg Linares PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Grant access to trusted users only. Use in trusted network environments only. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
