DESCRIPTION:
Paul Bakoyiannis has reported a vulnerability in CM68 News, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "addpath" parameter in engine/oldnews.inc.php is
not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be
exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Other files and parameters may also be affected.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

SOLUTION:
Apply the patch from 2006-12-11 or later.
