The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error when handling Photocast XML feeds and can be exploited via a Photocast XML feed with a specially crafted "title" tag with format string specifiers. Successful exploitation requires that the user e.g. is tricked into subscribing to a malicious Photocast feed. The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0.5 (316). Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not follow or subscribe to untrusted links to Photocast feeds.
