DESCRIPTION:
Manuel Santamarina Suarez has reported a vulnerability in Blue Coat
WinProxy, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of HTTP
CONNECT requests and can be exploited to crash the service or cause a
heap-based buffer overflow by sending an overly long CONNECT request
to the proxy service.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.1a and 6.0 r1c. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 6.1r1c.
