The vulnerability is caused due to an error within "NTLM_UnPack_Type3()" (MENTLM.DLL) when processing NTLM authentication data. This can be exploited e.g. to crash the IMAP or POP service via a specially crafted series of commands and data. The vulnerability is confirmed in MailEnable Professional version 2.35.
