DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Novell Access Manager, which
can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the improper handling of the
policy.txt file, which is created after a workstation connects to the
SSLVPN server and downloads ActiveX controls. This can be exploited to
e.g. access all web servers on the network by making the file
read-only, disconnecting from the network, editing the policy.txt
file, and then reconnecting.

The security issue is reported in version 3.0 IR1. Other versions may
also be affected.
