DESCRIPTION:
Gerardo Richarte has reported a vulnerability in Evolution, which can
be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to Evolution not calling GnuPG with
the "--status-fd" option when verifying signatures. This makes it
possible to inject arbitrary data into a signed message, and affects
the verification of non-detached signatures and signatures embedded
in encrypted messages.

The vulnerability is reported in 2.8.1. Other versions may also be
affected.

SOLUTION:
Verify signatures manually.
