Input passed to the "id" and "userid" parameters in changePW.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation allows e.g. to change the administrator's password but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Reported by an anonymous person. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
