The vulnerability is caused due to the "isloggedin()" function in Php/login.inc.php not correctly checking the authentication credentials. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication by requesting restricted pages with the "username" cookie set to "traffic". The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that the authentication credentials are correctly checked. Restrict access to the application e.g. with an .htaccess file.
