DESCRIPTION:
Gentoo has acknowledged a vulnerability in flac123, which potentially
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
function "local__vcentry_parse_value()" in vorbiscomment.c. This can
be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by e.g. tricking a user into
playing a specially crafted FLAC file.

Successful exploitation may allow the execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
Update to "media-sound/flac123-0.0.11" or later.
