This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted "help" command with an overly long parameter to a vulnerable server. 2) A boundary error exists within the "servinterface::sendmulticast()" function in servinterface.cc. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by sending various specially crafted commands to a vulnerable server. The vulnerabilities are reported in FSD 2.052 d9. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict use to trusted network environments.
