The vulnerability is caused due to Tramp creating temporary files insecurely (e.g. within the "tramp-make-tramp-temp-file" function). This can be exploited to e.g. overwrite arbitrary files via symlink attacks. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.1.11. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.1.11.
