DESCRIPTION:
Adrian Pastor has reported some vulnerabilities in Thomson SpeedTouch
780, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site
request forgery and cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "url" parameter in cgi/b/ic/connect/ is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Users are able to perform certain actions via HTTP requests
without the device performing any validity checks to verify the
request. This can be exploited to e.g. change the administrator
password by enticing a logged-in administrator to visit a malicious
site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in firmware version 6.1.4.3. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not browse untrusted sites or follow untrusted links.
