The problem is that pressing the "Power" button on the channel changer included in MyTV.PVR launches MyTV/x with root privileges. This can be exploited to gain access to certain system menus. The security issue is reported in MyTV/x versions 3.6.6 and 4.0.8. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Grant only trusted users access to the system and the channel changer.
