DESCRIPTION:
Sun has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in Gimp, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Solaris 10 for the SPARC
platform, Solaris 9 with JDS release 2 installed, and Solaris 10 for
the x86 platform. Reportedly, Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 on the SPARC
platform, and Solaris 8 on the x86 platform are not affected.

SOLUTION:
Open images from trusted sources only.

The vendor also recommends to enable the "noexec_user_stack" option.
