DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in WinUAE, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when loading
floppy disk image files (e.g. .GZ). This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted floppy disk image
file.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.4. Prior versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.4.5.
