This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when following a specially crafted link. Example: http://[host]:1235/../[code] 2) An input validation error can be exploited to access directories outside the web root via either the classic "../" directory traversal character sequence or the URL encoded representation by prepending almost any character or character sequence to the requested resource. Example: GET test../../../../boot.ini HTTP/1.0 3) Input passed to the "template" parameter is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to download arbitrary files from affected systems via directory traversal attacks. Example: http://[host]:1235/template?..\..\..\..\boot.ini The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 0.6.21. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: The vulnerabilities will reportedly be fixed in an upcoming version. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: 1) Reported by an anonymous person. 2+3) Luigi Auriemma ORIGINAL ADVISORY: Luigi Auriemma: http://aluigi.altervista.org/adv/imgsvr-adv.txthttp://aluigi.altervista.org/adv/imgsvr-adv.txt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
