This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious news is being viewed. 2) Input passed to the "content" parameter in actions/pm.php is not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious message is being viewed. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid administrator credentials. 3) Input passed via the URL is not properly sanitised in templates/default/usermenu.tpl before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 4) Images uploaded through the "newavatar" and "newphoto" parameters in profile.php are not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious profile is being viewed. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.9.6.1. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
