DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Qvod Player, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the
QvodInsert.QvodCtrl.1 ActiveX control (QvodInsert.dll) when handling
strings assigned to the "URL" property. This can be exploited to
cause a buffer overflow by assigning an overly-long string to the
affected property.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.5.1 build 0053.
