DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Serendipity, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks and
bypass certain security restrictions.

A vulnerability is caused due to the usage of vulnerable Smarty
code.

2) Input sent as trackbacks is not properly sanitised before being
stored. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script
code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an
affected site when the malicious data is viewed.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.2.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.3.
