The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the McAfee Framework Service (FrameworkService.exe) and can be exploited to cause the service to crash via specially crafted requests sent to default port 8081/TCP. The vulnerability affects CMA 3.6.0.574 Patch 3 and prior. SOLUTION: The vendor is reportedly working on a hotfix.
