The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors within the TIBCO EMS Server (tibemsd) and can be exploited to cause buffer overflows by sending specially crafted messages to the EMS server. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, disclosure of sensitive information, or to cause a DoS. The vulnerabilities are reported in TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) versions prior to 4.4.3 and TIBCO iProcess Engine versions 10.6.0 through 10.6.1. SOLUTION: Update TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Service to version 4.4.3 or later. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Reported by the vendor.
